SurveyJS.Creator 3.2.1

SurveyJS Survey Creator for ASP.NET Core and Blazor

A visual form builder that lets users design forms, configure questions and conditional logic, and produce JSON definitions that SurveyJS Form Library can render.

This NuGet metapackage supplies the JavaScript and CSS assets for ASP.NET Core and Blazor without an npm build step. It installs SurveyJS.Creator.JsUi, which brings in SurveyJS.Creator.Core, SurveyJS.JsUi, and SurveyJS.Core. Its assets are served from the component packages' _content/ paths.

Survey Creator requires a commercial developer license. See the licensing section below.

Installation

dotnet add package SurveyJS.Creator --version 3.2.1

Requires .NET 8 or later. Keep all SurveyJS packages on the same version.

Quick Start

Ensure your ASP.NET Core application serves static web assets from referenced packages. In a .NET 8 application, configure app.UseStaticFiles() in Program.cs. Keep the static asset configuration provided by newer ASP.NET Core templates.

Add both stylesheets and load the scripts in this order:

Font files are not included in this package. Load Open Sans separately for the default appearance, or load your application's chosen font.

Place the following container and script in the page body:

This example does not save form definitions. To save and load them, see Save and Load Survey Model Schemas.

Using Blazor

Load the resources in the host page and initialize Survey Creator through JS interop after the container renders (OnAfterRenderAsync). Keep one instance for the component's lifetime and dispose the model with creator.dispose() when removing the component. Transfer definitions through JS interop and store them in your own backend.

Survey Creator is a commercial product and requires a developer license. The Form Library dependencies are MIT-licensed. See SurveyJS licensing and follow the license activation instructions after purchasing a license.
