Syncfusion® ASP.NET Core ImageEditor Component
A component providing a rich set of tools to edit, annotate, and transform images directly in the browser without requiring server-side processing. Includes cropping, drawing, text annotations, filters, and more.
Key Features
- Crop, rotate, flip, zoom, and resize images
- Draw shapes: rectangles, ellipses, arrows, paths, and freehand
- Add text annotations with font and color customization
- Finetune adjustments: brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, opacity, and sharpness
- Supports image filters: default, chrome, cold, warm, grayscale, sepia, etc.
- Undo/redo and reset functionality
- Save/export edited image as PNG, JPEG, or SVG
Common Setup
All Syncfusion ASP.NET Core controls share the same foundational setup steps:
1. Install NuGet Package
Install-Package Syncfusion.AspNetCore.ImageEditor
2. Register Tag Helper
Add the following to ~/Pages/_ViewImports.cshtml or ~/Views/_ViewImports.cshtml:
@addTagHelper *, Syncfusion.AspNetCore.ImageEditor
3. Add Stylesheet & Script References
In your layout file (~/Pages/Shared/_Layout.cshtml):

Step 1: Create a PageModel
Create ~/Pages/Index.cshtml.cs:
