Sysinfocus AspNetCore Extensions
Introduction
Helps you in registering the services in to DI using attribute for eg: [Service(Lifetime.Scoped, typeof(IMyServce))]
on any class that you need to be in DI. It also provides the interface to register and use minimal endpoints in your API project with the help of IMinimalEndpoints
interface.
Example
- Add Service attribute on the class you want to register in DI.
using Sysinfocus.AspNetCore.Extensions;
namespace YourApp.Services;
[Service(Lifetime.Scoped)]
public class WeatherService
{
private readonly string[] summaries = ["Freezing", "Bracing", "Chilly", "Cool", "Mild", "Warm", "Balmy", "Hot", "Sweltering", "Scorching"];
public WeatherForecast[] Get() =>
[.. Enumerable.Range(1, 5).Select(index =>
new WeatherForecast
(
DateOnly.FromDateTime(DateTime.Now.AddDays(index)),
Random.Shared.Next(-20, 55),
summaries[Random.Shared.Next(summaries.Length)]
))
];
public record WeatherForecast(DateOnly Date, int TemperatureC, string? Summary)
{
public int TemperatureF => 32 + (int)(TemperatureC / 0.5556);
}
}
- Register endpoints using IMinimalEndpoints interface.
using Sysinfocus.AspNetCore.Extensions;
using YourApp.Services;
namespace YourApp.Endpoints;
public class WeatherEndpoints : IMinimalEndpoints
{
public void MapEndpoints(WebApplication app)
{
app.MapGet("/weatherforecast", static (WeatherService service) => Results.Ok(service.Get()));
}
}
- Register and Use them in your Program.cs as follows:
using Sysinfocus.AspNetCore.Extensions;
var builder = WebApplication.CreateBuilder(args);
builder.Services.AddServices();
builder.Services.AddEndpoints();
var app = builder.Build();
app.UseMinimalEndpoints();
app.Run();
