Universal.Operative.Sdk.Discrete.CodexSdk

An IModel adapter that runs Codex through Universal.OpenAI.CodexSdk.

Each call starts an ephemeral app-server thread, injects the supplied conversation history, and exposes the selected Operative tools as dynamic tools. Dynamic tool callbacks execute through the ModelInvocation's exact tool allowlist and shared ToolCallDispatcher, so the same before/after hooks, timeout policy, background routing, and diagnostics apply as the enclosing discrete engine. Text and reasoning are streamed as normal Operative block deltas. Dynamic tools, command execution, MCP, web search, file changes, collaboration, image operations, and sleep items are surfaced as server-tool use/result blocks. Other typed thread items are retained as RawJsonBlock values.

App-server notifications without a direct universal equivalent are emitted as namespaced UnknownEvent values, including command-output deltas, plans, diffs, warnings, status changes, and protocol additions from newer runtimes. Their original params payload is preserved rather than discarded.

The Codex runtime and home directory are controlled through Model.Options.AppServer. Runtime defaults remain available unless PromptMode, BaseInstructions, or DeveloperInstructions are set explicitly.
