Vungle Windows SDK (WPF)

Overview

Vungle Windows SDK for WPF enables monetization and ad mediation for Windows desktop applications built on WPF (.NET 8 or newer).

Example Code

A complete working example is in the LiftoffWpfDemoApp download (see the Liftoff Help Center article below).

Installation

Install via NuGet Package Manager in Visual Studio, or add to your .csproj: <PackageReference Include="VungleSDKForWPF" Version="7.1.2" />

Usage

Include the reference in your source: using LiftoffSDK.Public

Call LiftoffAds.InitializeAsync once your main window exists (for example from its Loaded event), not from App.OnStartup. Ads play over the client area of Application.Current.MainWindow; the window must be shown and not minimized when you call PlayAdAsync.

Dependencies

Microsoft WebView2 Runtime: Vungle SDK uses the new Microsoft Edge WebView2 browser control (https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/Microsoft-edge/webview2/) to display our ads. WebView2 depends on the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime to function at runtime; without it, your library will fail to create or display the webview even if everything is linked correctly. The installer for your application must install the WebView2 Runtime. We recommend the Evergreen Bootstrapper (https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/Microsoft-edge/webview2/?form=MA13LH). You can learn more about these options in the Microsoft Edge Developer documentation. (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/concepts/distribution?tabs=dotnetcsharp)
