Words Are Flowing for .NET MAUI

The MAUI head of the Words Are Flowing SDK: a Preferences-backed store for the engine's counters and the platform's native review prompt — Google Play In-App Review on Android, StoreKit on iOS.

Install

dotnet add package WordsAreFlowing.Sdk.Maui

(brings WordsAreFlowing.Sdk and WordsAreFlowing.Sdk.Core).

Quickstart

In MauiProgram.cs, before builder.Build():

builder.Services.AddWordsAreFlowingMaui(o =>
{
    o.ApiKey = "waf_live_…";
    o.AppVersion = AppInfo.Current.VersionString;
#if DEBUG
    o.UseFakeReviewManager = true; // Android: a debug package is on no Play track, so the real manager cannot succeed
#endif
});

Then use the loop exactly as on the web (<FeedbackAsk Loop="@Loop" /> in your layout, TrackAsync from behaviour only — never from a button). Platform is set from the device.

What the OS does

Android shows Play's dialog subject to an undisclosed quota, never reports whether it did, and needs the app installed at least once from a Play track (quota not enforced for internal testers). iOS shows the prompt at most three times per 365 days, always in development builds, never from TestFlight. The SDK counts store_prompt_fired when the OS was ASKED.

Storage

shared_prefs/wordsareflowing.xml (Android) / the wordsareflowing suite (iOS): every waf.* key the engine writes. Your app's Preferences.Clear() does not touch it.

Hosts registering their own pieces

Register IKeyValueStore or IStoreReviewPrompter BEFORE AddWordsAreFlowingMaui to replace the defaults; the call uses TryAdd.
