CSCS stands for "Customized Scripting in C Sharp". It is described in various books and magazines, but mostly in CODE Magazine articles.

CSCS.Sql module is an optional module to run Sql related functions. CSCS.Core and CSCS.InterpreterManager packages is also required (you start running CSCS from it and it also manages interpreters for a scripting multi-threaded application). CSCS.Core module is the main module where the "Split-and-merge"parsing algorithm is implemented.

Here is an example of using CSCS in your project:

using cscs = CSCS.InterpreterManager.CSCS;

Console.WriteLine("Starting...");
var script = $@"
    Start = pstime;
    print('Start pstime=' + Start);
    now = now('yyyy/MM/dd HH:mm:ss.fff');
    Print('Starting tests.', now);
    Import('CSCS.Math');
    val = Math.Exp(Math.sin(Math.Pi));
    print(val);
    End = pstime;
    print('End pstime=' + End);
";

cscs.RunScript(script);
Console.WriteLine("Finished script.");

cscs.StartDebugger();

while (true)
{
    Thread.Sleep(1000);
}

Note that you will have more freedom an power if you add CSCS source code to your project. The source code is available here.

Also check out the Visual Studio Code Extension CSCS Debugger & REPL. You can easily edit and debug CSCS files with it. To be able to use this extension, you need to run first cscs.StartDebugger() (as in the code above).
