Helix — a modern experimental .NET IDE — as a headless MCP server. Gives an LLM the tools a developer has in an IDE: Roslyn-powered C# navigation and editing, solutions, MSBuild builds with binlogs, a managed debugger, unit tests, and git.

Prerequisites

  • .NET 10 SDK
  • macOS (Apple Silicon) or Windows x64

Install

dotnet tool install -g helixmcp

Register with your MCP client

Claude Code:
