Mvvm-essentials

A library of basic tools for MVVM development containing:

  • A message propagator to register to, based on ReactiveX programming ReplaySubjects
  • An Inversion of Control bootstrapper (to be initialised at application startup using the IocBootstrap.Init() method)
  • An Inversion of Control container for Dependency Injection
  • A BaseViewModel class to inherit from, providing basic services for a generic ViewModel

Basic usage

  • Init the IocBootstrap with the Init() method,
  • Implement the IAppUiManager to provide an interface to the platform specific UI manager
  • Implement the IVIewsNavigator and use the Start(IAppUiManager appUiManager) at app startup to navigate to the first screen in your app
  • Implement the IModule interface per project to register interface implementations to provide Inversion of Control
  • Use the BaseViewModel class to implement ViewModels in your MVVM app
