Universal.Common.Net.WebSocket.Protocols.Base64Header

A light protocol for passing headers through for a WebSocket implementation through the protocol header. Meant for interop with JavaScript's limited WebSocket API.

Usage

This protocol is provided as a single middleware implementation for ASP.NET Core. This middleware should be called after UseWebSockets but before any other middleware that needs to read headers off the request.

var builder = WebApplication.CreateBuilder();

var app = webApplicationBuilder.Build();

app.UseWebSockets();
app.UseWebSocketBase64HeadersMiddleware();

app.Run();
