Zstandard

https://facebook.github.io/zstd/

This library was built from zstd 1.5.7 with vcpkg (install_packages.ps1) for x64, x86 and arm64, both windows and uwp, release and debug.

MSBuild

Installing the package adds the headers, links the import library and copies the DLL to the output (and into the app package of a UWP project). It picks the build by itself:

  • runtime: uwp for Windows Store projects, windows otherwise
  • platform: from Platform (x64, Win32 or x86, ARM64)
  • configuration: debug when UseDebugLibraries is true, release otherwise, so custom configuration names work

Each choice can be overridden with zstd-Runtime, zstd-Platform and zstd-Configuration; zstd-Enabled set to false leaves the package out, and zstd-CopyBinaries set to false leaves the DLL out of the output. A build the package has no binaries for stops with an error naming the missing library.
