Asyntai AI Chatbot for Xperience by Kentico

Put the Asyntai AI chat assistant on your Xperience by Kentico website channels.

Asyntai reads your own pages, documents and product feed, and answers visitor questions on your website in more than 80 languages. It answers questions about delivery, prices, opening hours and products, it collects an email address when a visitor wants a person, and it sends the conversation to your inbox.

What you get

  • An Asyntai AI Chatbot application in the Xperience administration, under Configuration.
  • One chat assistant for each website channel. A marketer picks the channel and pastes the Asyntai chatbot ID. No developer work for each change.
  • The assistant appears on every page of that channel.
  • A switch that also shows the assistant in Page Builder and preview, off by default, so editors work on a clean page.

Requirements

  • Xperience by Kentico 31.4.0 or newer
  • .NET 8.0 or newer
  • An Asyntai account. Create one at asyntai.com.

Installation

Add the package to the web project:

dotnet add package Asyntai.Xperience.AiChatbot

Register the integration in Program.cs, next to the other Kentico registrations:

builder.Services.AddKenticoAsyntai();

Start the application. The integration creates its own module and database table on the first start.

Use

  1. Sign in to asyntai.com and open your dashboard.
  2. Copy the chatbot ID from the install snippet.
  3. In the Xperience administration, open Configuration → Asyntai AI Chatbot.
  4. Press Add a chatbot.
  5. Fill in a name, choose the website channel, and paste the chatbot ID.
  6. Save.

Open any page of that channel. The chat button appears in the corner.

Settings

Field Meaning
Name A name for this configuration, for example "Public website".
Website channel The channel that shows this assistant.
Asyntai chatbot ID The ID from the Asyntai install snippet.
Show the chat assistant on this channel Turn the assistant on or off.
Also show it in Page Builder and preview Off by default.
Script address Leave empty to use the Asyntai address.

How the script loads

The integration adds a small loader at the end of the body tag. The loader waits for the page load event and then fetches the Asyntai widget script. A script tag added before that event holds the load event open until its request finishes, so waiting keeps your page speed measurements clean.
