DotNetBrowser.Chromium.Extraction
DotNetBrowser.Chromium.Extraction is a NuGet package that extracts DotNetBrowser
Chromium binaries during dotnet build and dotnet publish.
It supports direct extraction from platform-specific DotNetBrowser.Chromium*.dll
assemblies and can also work with already unpacked binaries directories.

Property Reference
DotNetBrowserExtractionEnabledMaster switch for extraction targets. Default:false.DotNetBrowserExtractionDuringBuildRun extraction afterBuild. Default:false.DotNetBrowserExtractionDuringPublishRun extraction afterPublish. Default:false.DotNetBrowserExtractionSourcePathOptional source file or directory. If not set, package defaults are used.DotNetBrowserExtractionDestinationPathOptional destination directory for unpacked Chromium binaries. If relative, it is resolved against$(TargetDir)for build-time extraction and$(PublishDir)for publish-time extraction.
RID and Platform Resolution
When the source path is a directory, the package uses RuntimeIdentifier
to select the best matching DotNetBrowser.Chromium*.dll assembly.
If RuntimeIdentifier is not set, it uses the current host OS and process
architecture to choose a candidate.
Platform Compatibility
Extraction must run on the same operating system family as the target runtime. This preserves Unix symlinks and executable permissions.
Troubleshooting
- Ensure
RuntimeIdentifiermatches the binaries you are extracting. - Ensure source path points to either a Chromium assembly file or a directory that contains one.
- Check MSBuild output for
DotNetBrowser.Chromium.Extractionmessages.
