Project info

This library is made with the intention that there will no longer be a need to add these same method in each of the projects.

Installation

Examples

CapitalFirstLetter capitalises the first letter of the entire string. The code below will return Hello world.

Formatter.String.CapitaliseFirstLetter("HELLO WORLD");

ToRelativeDuration returns the specified duration in a beautified string. Output: 1 day 16 hours.

Formatter.String.ToRelativeDuration(TimeSpan myTimeSpan)

There's also the Number class which provides number related conversions. The code below will return 123,456.5162.

Formatter.Number.FormatNumber(123456.5162);

You can specify the amount of decimals by specifying in an overload parameter:

// Returns 1,234.7
Formatter.Number.FormatNumber(1234.7318, 1);

// Returns 1,234.731
Formatter.Number.FormatNumber(1234.7318, 3);

Most modern C# IDEs allows you to import static members, by doing this you won't have to bother with Formatter.Number.____. See the below example:

FormatNumber(1513.12, 1);
