Fetch Mcp Server
This is a minimal Model Context Protocol (MCP) stdio server that helps to access internet.
Requirements
- .NET 10 SDK (preview) to build/run the
net10.0target. - Network egress to the URLs you plan to fetch.
Quickstart
- Install the .NET 10 SDK and restore packages:
dotnet build Src/Fetch.Mcp.Server.csproj
- Run the server over stdio:
dotnet run --project Src/Fetch.Mcp.Server.csproj
- Wire it into an MCP-compatible client. Example: VS Code, add the following snippet in
mcp.jsonfolder inside.vscodefolder{ "servers": { "fetch-mcp-server": { "type": "stdio", "command": "dotnet", "args": [ "run", "--project", "${workspaceFolder}/Src/" ] } }, "inputs": [] }
