Overview

This package provides a full GPT (GUID Partition Table) implementation compliant with the UEFI specification, including protective MBR handling, partition entry array parsing, and CRC validation. It is automatically used by FirmwareKit.PartitionTable when a valid GPT header is detected during table probing.

Contents

  • GptPartitionEntry — model representing a single GPT partition entry with GUID type, unique GUID, attributes, and name.
  • GptParser — low-level parser for reading and writing GPT header and entry arrays.
  • GptPartitionTable — IPartitionTable implementation with CRC tracking, sector-size auto-detection, and mutable access.

  • Supports standard 512-byte sectors and large-sector images (1024 / 2048 / 4096 / 8192)
