A lightweight .NET library for converting between Guid and RAW(16) byte/hex representations.

Installation

Install the NuGet package:

API

GuidRaw.ToRaw(Guid)

Converts a Guid to a 16-byte byte[].

byte[] raw = GuidRaw.ToRaw(id);

This can be used when a binary RAW(16) value is required.

GuidRaw.ToRawHex(Guid)

Converts a Guid to a hexadecimal string representation.

string rawHex = GuidRaw.ToRawHex(id);

Useful for logging, debugging, displaying RAW values, or comparing values.

GuidRaw.ToGuid(byte[])

Converts a 16-byte RAW value to a Guid.

Guid id = GuidRaw.ToGuid(raw); GuidRaw.ToGuid(string)

Converts a hexadecimal RAW string to a Guid.

Guid id = GuidRaw.ToGuid(rawHex); Oracle RAW(16)

For Oracle RAW(16) columns, use ToRaw() when the application requires the binary representation:

byte[] raw = GuidRaw.ToRaw(id);

Use ToRawHex() when you need to display or log the RAW value:

string rawHex = GuidRaw.ToRawHex(id);
