Introduction
Centias is a .NET Package that allows developers to rapidly build admin panels based on their EF Core models. It's free to use on local development environments. For production use an active Standard License is required.
Documentation
We are happy to have you on board! If you haven't used Centias before, please have a thorough look at our documentation.
Run Centias in Production
If you want to run your application in a production environment, you need to purchase a Centias Standard License through the Centias website. You may still use Centias without a Standard License in typical development environments (see the docs for further information). In development environments the license key field can be left empty.
Two configuration elements are relevant: your production domain and your Standard License key. Each license key is associated with one production domain. You can configure the domain and copy the license key in your Centias user area.
A minimal production configuration looks like this, note that a DbContext must be configured for Centias to work correctly.
using Linkerion.Centias;
var builder = WebApplication.CreateBuilder(args);
// Configure DbContext
builder.Services.AddDbContext<DemoDbContext>();
// Add Centias with domain and license key
builder.Services.AddCentias(new CentiasOptions()
{
Title = "Parakeet Vans - Backend",
BaseUrl = "https://parakeetvans.com",
LicenseKey = "license_123456789" // dummy license key
});
var app = builder.Build();
// Add Centias to your app before running it
app.UseCentias();
app.Run();
To deploy your application, create a production build and then transfer the relevant files to a webserver of your choice that is associated with the production domain.
License
Centias is licensed to you by the Linkerion GmbH, Hallbergmooser Strasse 27, 85356 Freising, Germany. You will find all available licenses on the Centias website. Which license applies to you depends on whether you've purchased a Standard License and if your Standard License is currently active.
By using this package you acknowledge and accept the license terms outlined in the respective license documents available on centias.com.
