Ltnm.CryptoField.Core

Ltnm.CryptoField.Core is a small .NET library that helps encrypt identifier fields on models by using attributes and extension methods.

Installation

Install from NuGet:

Usage

Set the encryption key with the KEY_CRYPTO environment variable, or pass the key directly to the helper methods.

After encryption, EncryptedId will contain the encrypted value and Id will be set to null when applicable.

Notes

  • AES keys must have a valid length supported by .NET AES.
  • If no key is passed, the library reads from the KEY_CRYPTO environment variable.
