Lyo.Sms.Postgres

PostgreSQL EF Core store for outbound SMS logs (SmsLogEntity). The package never sends SMS. It wires SmsDbContext so workers or gateways can persist send outcomes after Lyo.Sms / Lyo.Sms.Twilio completes.

Schema and row type

  • Schema. sms (PostgresSmsOptions.Schema = "sms").
  • SmsLogEntity. Id (guid), To / From, Body, MediaUrlsJson (serialized MMS attachments), IsSuccess, Message, ErrorMessage, ElapsedTimeMs, MessageId, Status, ErrorCode, timeline fields (DateCreated, DateSent, DateUpdated), and CreatedAt.

Service registration

  • AddSmsDbContext(string connectionString) registers a factory plus a scoped SmsDbContext (the scoped registration pulls a fresh context from IDbContextFactory<SmsDbContext>).
  • AddSmsDbContextFactory(PostgresSmsOptions) / AddSmsDbContextFactory (Action<PostgresSmsOptions>) wire singleton options plus AddDbContextFactory with UseNpgsql and the migration history schema.
  • AddSmsDbContextFactoryFromConfiguration(IConfiguration, section = PostgresSmsOptions.SectionName) binds PostgresSms (or an override), then registers the factory.

When Lyo.Sms.Twilio.Postgres fits better

If TwilioSmsResult is what you need (price, segments, account SID, direction), use Lyo.Sms.Twilio.Postgres (TwilioSmsLogEntity, keyed by Twilio message SID).
