Rwx.Core

Core modularity, conventional dependency injection, bootstrap logging, and reusable hosted-service primitives for the Rwx framework.

Install

dotnet add package Rwx.Core --version 0.1.0

Quick start

Create a root module, declare its dependencies, and initialize it from either WebApplicationBuilder or HostApplicationBuilder.

using Rwx.Core.Modularity;

public sealed class AppModule : RwxModule
{
}

RwxApplication rxApplication = builder.AddApplication<AppModule>();
using IHost host = builder.Build();

await rxApplication.StartAsync(host.Services);
try
{
    await host.RunAsync();
}
finally
{
    await rxApplication.StopAsync(host.Services);
}

Use [DependOn<TModule>] to build the module graph. Each module runs pre-configure, configure, post-configure, initialization, and shutdown phases in dependency order.

Boundaries

Rwx.Core is infrastructure-neutral. Modules may register services and validate configuration, but must not perform I/O during registration or hide application/business rules in lifecycle hooks. Declare every dependency with [DependOn<TModule>]; do not depend on the current order of extension-method calls.

AddRwxConventionalRegistration() scans assemblies for ITransientDependency, IScopedDependency, and ISingletonDependency implementations. Use ExposeServicesAttribute to control exposed interfaces or DisableConventionalRegistrationAttribute to opt out.
