Quick start

This package runs the worker; pair it with a storage adapter such as Rwx.Outbox.Persistence.EfCore.

Use it in a worker/background host only. The relay publishes claimed messages and retention removes processed or dead-lettered rows. AddRwxOutboxHealthCheck() reports lag based on the oldest unprocessed message.

Boundaries

The worker consumes an IOutboxStore supplied by a persistence adapter and an IEventBus supplied by a transport adapter; register both before it. It provides at-least-once delivery, not exactly-once delivery—downstream consumers remain responsible for idempotency. Do not make an API host run this worker unless it explicitly owns relay processing.
