README

EPiServer-plugin provides Screen9 integration in EPiServer CMS.
This plugin was designed for EPiServer CMS ver. 11 or higher and was tested on
EPi Alloy template site (MVC/Web forms).

Installation

  • Prerequisite: EPiServer 11.5 or later

Add the corresponding settings to '<appSettings>' section in web.config file, fetched from your Screen9 console account:

    <add key="Screen9ProviderEnabled" value="true" />
    <add key="Screen9ProviderRestApiToken" value="" />
    <add key="Screen9ProviderAccountId" value="" />

Screen9ProviderEnabled - Enables or disables Screen9 content provider.
Screen9ProviderRestApiToken - The Screen9 Rest API token.
Screen9ProviderAccountId - The six digit account specifier. Also known as custid.

Additional information

  1. The plugin contains a job called Screen9 Integration Job.
    The job synchronizes media data between Screen9 and EPiServer.
    It is enabled by default and runs every 30 min.
    We don't recommend to set time the interval to be less than 5 min.
    If you don't upload, edit or delete media via Screen9 Console then you can disable this job and run it only manually when needed.

  2. The Screen9 Rest API token can have different privileges.
    Set the token Access level to Public to only show approved media
    or Full to show all media.
    Please make sure that you have also enabled Read, Write and Upload privileges.
