Telerik Report Server (.NET) HTTP Client

This package contains an HTTP client library for calling the management REST API of Progress® Telerik® Report Server (.NET) — Reports, Documents, DataConnections, DataAlerts, Users, UserRoles, ScheduledTasks, ObjectDataSources, Authentication, and more. Use it to automate and integrate Report Server administration from your own .NET applications instead of writing raw HTTP requests.

This package is part of the Progress® Telerik® Report Server solution.

What's in This Package

Assembly Purpose
Telerik.ReportServer.HttpClient.Core.dll Strongly typed HTTP client for the Report Server management REST API.
Telerik.ReportServer.Services.Models.Core.dll Request and response models shared with the Report Server services.

Supported Frameworks

  • net8.0 — .NET 8 and later

Supported Platforms

Windows, Linux, and macOS, on-premises and in the cloud.

Requires

A running Progress® Telerik® Report Server (.NET) instance and credentials with sufficient permissions for the operations you call.

Why Choose Telerik Report Server?

  • Centralize report management — store, organize, and version report definitions in one place, with access controlled per user and per role.
  • Deliver reports automatically — schedule reports for automatic e-mail delivery and configure data alerts that notify users when data changes.
  • View reports anywhere — display server-stored reports in web and desktop applications through the Telerik Reporting viewers, or directly in the Report Server web interface.
  • Design reports without a developer — author report definitions in the royalty-free Desktop Report Designer and the browser-based Web Report Designer.
  • Automate with the REST API — manage reports, categories, data connections, users, scheduled tasks, and server settings programmatically, which is exactly what this package is for.
  • Export to the formats your business runs on — PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, images, and more.
