Universal.Operative.Sdk.Codex.V8

Optional embedded ClearScript/V8 backend for the Codex exec and wait tools. The core Codex tool package has no native JavaScript dependency.

Use a fresh backend per independent root session; the children in that session share the backend with separate agent state. The consumer owns the backend and should dispose the toolset before disposing the backend.

Each exec uses a fresh V8 engine with asynchronous nested tool dispatch through the SDK dispatcher. store and load retain JSON values between cells for an agent. Output helpers support text, images, and audio; yielded cells are observed or terminated with wait. The execution context exposes tool metadata and normalized tool names, without Node.js globals.

The package references ClearScript native binaries for Windows, Linux, and macOS on x64 and ARM64. Matching native libraries and operating-system dependencies are required. Runtime tests currently cover the development host; this is not a claim of validation on every operating system or architecture. Browser/WASM, mobile, and Alpine/musl are not advertised as validated targets.

This backend supplies local JavaScript execution. It does not sandbox the host or provide web-search/image-generation services; those services remain consumer-provided interfaces in the Codex package.
