Brutal Glfw
C# bindings for the GLFW windowing and input library, for use with the BRUTAL framework.
Brutal Glfw provides an idiomatic .NET wrapper around GLFW, a cross-platform library for creating windows and OpenGL/Vulkan rendering surfaces. Use it to manage application windows, handle keyboard, mouse, and joystick input through an event-driven API, and integrate with the rest of the BRUTAL rendering stack.
Platform Support
- Windows (x64)
- Linux (x64)
- macOS (Apple Silicon)

Installation
To install the package via NuGet, run the following command in your project directory:
dotnet add package Ahwoo.BRUTAL.Glfw
Usage
Initialise GLFW, create a window, and run a basic event loop:
if (!Glfw.Init())
throw new InvalidOperationException("Failed to initialize GLFW");
var window = Glfw.CreateWindow(new GlfwWindow.CreateInfo
{
Title = "My Window",
Size = new int2(1280, 720),
});
window.OnKeyPress += (win, key, _, action, _) =>
Console.WriteLine($"Key {key} {action}");
while (!window.ShouldClose)
Glfw.PollEvents();
window.Dispose();
Please refer to the BRUTAL Documentation for more detailed usage instructions and examples.

GLFW fork
The native library is built from RocketWerkz/glfw, a fork of GLFW that adds
trackpad zoom, rotate and scroll detail events on top of an upstream release. Its ROCKETWERKZ.md lists the patches
and describes how to move to a new GLFW release.
