Quick start

Install Rwx.Jobs.Abstractions in projects that implement or schedule jobs. Pair this worker package with a store adapter such as Rwx.Jobs.Persistence.EfCore:

Jobs implement IDelayedJob<TData> and are scheduled through IJobScheduler:

The Jobs configuration section controls polling, batches, retry limits, retention, and health-check thresholds. Use this package only in a worker/background host.

Boundaries

This package executes jobs but does not persist schedules; register an IJobStore adapter first. Job handlers must tolerate retry and restart, so make their side effects idempotent and keep their data contracts serializable and stable. An API can schedule jobs without running the worker.
