Overview

Doconut is an enterprise-ready document viewer control for .NET, supporting many file formats such as PDF, Office files, CAD formats, images, and more.

Doconut allows you to integrate document viewing with minimal setup and includes features such as:

Document rendering for multiple formats
Search and print
Annotation workflows
Viewer customization

Installation

Known limitations

DICOM technical metadata is not available on .NET 6. The underlying imaging engine that reads DICOM tags has no .NET 6 build, so Viewer.GetDicomMetadataAsync always returns null and the metadata endpoint answers 501 Not Implemented on this package. Use Doconut.NET8 if you need technical metadata.

DICOM rendering — pages, frames and animation — is fully supported on .NET 6 and is unaffected.
