FFMSisco

A lightweight FFmpeg wrapper for .NET with an automatic bootstrapper, audio filters, and an extensible architecture.

FFMSisco is a .NET library that integrates FFmpeg in a clean, portable, and developer‑friendly way.
It does not require FFmpeg to be installed on the system: the library automatically downloads the official FFmpeg build and uses it from a private runtime folder.

The project is designed to be:

Getting Started

Convert a file to WAV

Project Structure

FFMSisco currently includes:

  • FFmpegBootstrapper.cs
    Handles FFmpeg download and initialization.

  • FFmpegRunner.cs
    Executes FFmpeg commands asynchronously.

  • AudioFilters.cs
    Contains all audio filters and EQ presets.

  • FFMSisco.csproj
    Project file with NuGet metadata.


Architecture

FFMSisco is built with modularity in mind:

  • Bootstrap → FFmpeg download and setup
  • Runner → FFmpeg command execution
  • Audio → audio filters and equalizers
  • Video (planned) → video processing and filters
  • Utils → helper utilities

Each module is independent and easy to extend.
